About us

Established in 1989 as a business unit of RMIT University, RMIT Publishing is Australia’s leading scholarly e-press, delivering the largest collection of Australasian scholarly research materials via our Informit online service. Our range of bibliographic databases, Plus Text databases and Informit e-Library form an essential resource for students and researchers.

Building on existing strengths in online delivery, RMIT Publishing is also developing a new journals program. We are commissioning new journals in a broad range of subject areas, as well as taking on existing journals. We aim to leverage our online publishing expertise in combination with our high editorial and production standards to create a vibrant new contribution to Australian scholarship that can be marketed to a global audience.

We also accept proposals for scholarly monographs to be published in e-book format and publish selected print projects under our RMIT University Press imprint.
