Informit is RMIT Publishing’s key service, providing the premier source of online Australasian scholarly research. Informit offers a wide range of databases and full content publications that deliver the majority of Australasian scholarly research to the education, research and business sectors. The subject areas covered include social sciences, public affairs, business, economics, management, law, engineering, information technology, education, culture, politics, history, health and Indigenous studies. Informit is the brand that encompasses the range of RMIT Publishing's online products: Informit Indexes, Informit Plus Text and Informit e-Library.

Informit’s bibliographic indexes and Plus Text databases are developed in conjunction with a range of partners, including the National Library of Australia, the Copyright Agency Limited, the Attorney-General’s Department and the Australian Council for Educational Research, among others. We currently publish over 70 index databases and five Plus Text databases. Our latest service, Informit e-Library, offers full text, cover-to-cover access to more than 200 Australasian journals and monographs. Informit is supported by a sophisticated interface that allows users to search the entire Informit collection, a single journal issue, or even a single book title or journal article.

All Australian universities, state libraries and TAFE institutes, most hospitals, federal and state government departments, many corporate and legal organisations, as well as hundreds ofpublic and school libraries subscribe to, and rely on, Informit products to provide theirclients with essential Australasian research.
