We are currently seeking contributions from researchers in political science, international relations, conflict analysis, strategic studies, economics, environmental and earth science, biogeography, ecology, health science, ethics, geography, sociology, law, psychology, anthropology, philosophy, education and other areas. Contributions should have relevance to one or several aspects of human security under the 'four pillar' model of sociopolitical, economic, health-related and environmental security. We particularly welcome submissions on interdisciplinary research.
Submissions should be 4000–8000 words in length and include a 100-word abstract and brief author bio. Please register and send your submission online via the Journal Management System (JMS).
Submissions are accepted on the basis that they have not been previously published and are not under consideration elsewhere. A style guide and journal guidelines are available on the JMS.
Contributions to the Journal of Human Security are evaluated by the editor-in-chief and two external referees.
Copyright is vested in each of the contributors in respect of his or her contribution, provided that on re-publication, due acknowledgment is made to the Journal of Human Security. The editorial committee reserves the right to make stylistic alterations in the interests of clarity.
