We are currently seeking contributions that explore key issues in qualitative research. This includes both methodological analyses, and articles describing projects that have used qualitative research methods. In addition to peer-reviewed articles, the journal has sections that focus specifically on teaching qualitative research, software reviews, book reviews, and articles that review or revisit classic texts on qualitative research. Before submitting your article, we recommend that you review previous issues of the journal to both engage with ongoing research and also avoid duplication of article topics.
Submissions should be 4000–8000 words in length and include a 100-word abstract and brief author bio. Please register and send your submission online via the Journal Management System (JMS).
Submissions are accepted on the basis that they have not been previously published and are not under consideration elsewhere. A style guide and journal guidelines are available on the JMS.
Contributions to Qualitative Research Journal are evaluated by the editorial board and two external referees.
Copyright is vested in each of the contributors in respect of his or her contribution, provided that on re-publication, due acknowledgment is made to Qualitative Research Journal. The editorial board reserves the right to make stylistic alterations in the interests of clarity.
